Thanks, I will check it out. Yep, changes to the site keeps me on my toes. At least I do try to tell you what Friend month, year and page number you can find the coloring page on, so at least you can try to navigate to it on the lds.org.

My wife and I teach the 7/8 year olds. We have used you site for years and love it. Today when I tried to use it I got an invalid request response when I clicked on a link. I hope it is a quickly fixable bug as we prefer your site to all others for material for the kids.

HELLO , I JSUT WANT TO SAY THENK YOU FOR ALL YOUR TIME FOR DOING THIS, I USE THEM A LOT AND I WANT TO LET YOU KNOW THAT THERE ARE SOME BROKEN LINKS IN THE COLORING PAGES, WELL NOT ACTUALLY BROKEN IT JUST SAY THAT IT IS AN INVALID REQUEST, I THINK CHURCH SITE MOVED THEIR LINKS AND THAT IS WHY WE CANT ACCESS TO SOME OF THEM, HERE IS ONE FOR EXAMPLE

Wow Matia,

Talk about a labor of love. I’ve been perusing coloring page blogs this morning, and this one comes up near the top for the search term “coloring page blog,” forget the fact that you’re focusing only LDS coloring pages published in the Friend Magazine. I guess, you’ve included primary manuals here as well. Glad I took the time to actually read what you were doing here, or what you have done.

Thanks, Elsha. Yes, I did finish the project, though I must update every month when the new Friend comes out. I have indexed all the Friend coloring pages back to 1972, and the current Primary manuals. Unfortunately I do not have any way to link to the old manuals since they are not on the lds.org site. I would feel a bit leery of posting scanned copies of pictures even if I had an old manual on hand because it might be a violation of copyright.

Thank you very much for creating and sharing this wonderful resource! I know it’s been a while since and update was posted and I am wondering if you are finished with this project? I remember from my childhood (20 years ago) flannel board pictures of a modern family. My mom informs me that they were likely illustrated by Julie F. Young in an old nursery manual. Just wondering if you plan to add any more pages from back-manuals (assuming they are available to you)? Thank you again!
