Hello, my name is Matia,

This index of coloring pages was inspired by my own desire to find LDS themed
coloring pages for my children, especially my daughter, pictured below, who
loves to color.
 For your information, LDS and Latter-day Saint are terms that refer to members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the Church is the best thing that ever happened to me. For more information about the Church, you can check out www.mormon.org. The LDS coloring pages appear in the PDF and HTML versions of the children's Friend magazine at lds.org, but it can take quite a while to browse several issues on-line. I used to find
the coloring pages by getting out the old paper copies and flipping through them. Then when I found something I liked, I would go to the Church website and print it out.
Even faster now is to browse the following list I made. When the preview pictures appear on HTML pages on lds.org, I have included the link. Viewing and printing from PDF files is a little less convenient, but you will note that some coloring pages, mostly the "hidden pictures," can only be viewed from the PDF Friend. I have included the link to each year's PDF Friend page.
Be sure when you click through to an HTML page that you scroll all the way to the bottom to find your coloring page. You will see it as a small, sketchy preview picture with the words "click to view larger format" below it. If you have difficulty, I have included
more detailed directions.
This is a work in progress, a Sabbath-day hobby, and I will be adding
as time permits until this is done. With however many years of the Friend
magazine and the Primary manuals, this may take a while, but I believe it
will be worth it. Please forgive me if I do not beautify this website with
more graphics and such. Graphic design was never my strength, and I think
the best use of my time is to complete the index. For those of you who
discovered this index first on Squidoo, let me explain that I felt a
separate website would be more useful -- the pages will load faster if
they are smaller for instance. Also, I would like to have a little more
control over the advertising that appears on these pages, especially
filtering out those advertisements that seem to be in less than good taste to
me. It is the nature of contextual advertising that I may not discover a
"bad ad" immediately when it appears on my web pages. If you ever see
an advertisement on LDSColoringPages.net that ridicules the Church or
proselytes its members, please notify me by leaving a comment on my
blog. (Please be sure to include
the wording of the advertisement and your country.) I would be so grateful.
